Disappearance of Shannan Gilbert - Timeline

After fleeing a client's home in Oak Beach, Shannon Gilbert, a sex worker, places a call to 911, saying that someone is trying to kill her.

She subsequently bangs on the front door of a number of surrounding homes, then disappears.

2010 - June 

Suffolk County Police missing persons Department asks officer John Mallia to begin searching for the body of Gilbert, using his trained cadaver dog, a German Shepherd named Blue.
